We had quite an adventure on thursday - we gave Finn his first bath! As you can see from all the pictures, we had a blast and had to document as much as we could.
With the careful guidance from Jen, his nurse, Brian and I were hands on giving our little peanut his first sponge bath. Finn was not so sure about the bath itself where Jen held him in a bucket of water and we washed him with a face cloth. But he loved his hair washing! He was swaddled from the neck down and Jen held his head over the bucket of water while Brian and I washed and massaged his head. He was in bliss! He also loved having his hair brushed by his Dad with a toothbrush.
Brian, I and Jen were in hysterics watching his different facial expressions as he underwent this new bizarre experience.
I saw Brian make some of these faces when we were in Tennessee as he underwent that bizarre experience. It is genetic! These pictures are just fantastic! Beth, you look great. Hope your recovery is going smoothly as well. Brian, you look like ten miles of bad road as usual.
