Finn loves visitors

My friends Nicole and Jack and little Kate came to visit from Austin. It was the first time we both met the little ones. Kate was a doll and I had a blast showing them around Newburyport.
Then Finn had a special treat - his nurse Jen from the Nicu came to hang out. She couldn't believe how big he'd gotten. I questioned whether she'd be able to handle a big baby since she's used to the little preemies. :)

Finn and cousin Tyler

Finn loves to play with (or at least watch) his big cousin Tyler. Don't they look cute in their polo shirts? It's hard to believe these beautiful boys were premature and weighed less than 2 lbs.

Auntie Joanne and fall fun

Auntie Jo came for a visit from Florida to enjoy Finn and a little New England fall. The weather cooperated on Saturday so we went on some quintessential fall adventures - apple picking and cider donuts and a walk through Maudsley state park. And as luck would have it, it was the weekend for Haunted Maudsley, hence the huge skull we're standing in front of. Finn was an angel as usual and slept through it all.

Cape Cod in the fall

Finn took his first trip to the Cape over Columbus Day weekend. The weather was beautiful for this time of year. We took lots of walks to and on the beach and of course watched the Patriots game on Sunday. Isn't Finn gifted already learning the touch down sign?

Little Pats fan

You can never start them too early. Finn loves watching games with his daddy all decked out in matching jerseys. Go Pats!

Just being cute

Finn is doing great growing in leaps and bounds. He is now over 10 lbs and having longer periods of awake time. He is also focusing on our faces and some toys and he loves sounds especially a clicking sound we make with our tongues.

Apple Pickin' Time

Finn went on his first apple picking adventure to Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury. The day was a perfect sunny fall day and even though Finn slept through most of it, we're sure he loved it. (Yes that is him under all that blanket and fleece.) Unfortunately, we couldn't end the day in our typical fashion with cider donuts because the line was so long. But my wonderful husband went back the next morning when they opened at 8 AM to get his sleep deprived wife some of these yummy treats.
